Bohemians began as an 11-a-side mens team in 2006 managed by Richard Cobb. 'Cobby' as he is affectionately known spent a number of years prior to returning home to Sheffield, living in Prague, Czech Republic, where he began to follow and support Bohemians 1905. New Bohemians play in a green and white striped kit, have a kangaroo mascot and football tour to Prague when possible as tribute to the original Bohemians. The club has 2 mens teams, with the 1st team playing in the Windsor County Senior League, and the Reserve's in the South Yorkshire Amatuer League. The New Bohemians Ladies play in the Sheffield and Hallamshire Womens League, and the Junior teams in the Rosehill Press Sheffield and District Junior League.
The Club is based at Boundary Academy, Jordanthorpe and has recieved funding from several bodies to help increase participation throughout the community and age groups. The Club is also a Charter Standard Club
